It allows you to take a look at your career options, in case you want to fund a new team, resign from your current team or apply for a job elsewhere.
You can also change your settings, or buy supporter in the shop. In the private life section you can buy shares from other teams to become a shareholder of the team, and also change your salary.
The mailbox allows you to send mails to other managers, and the helpdesk allows you to contact the Pitwall administration in case there's a problem with your account.
== Career ==
=== Found a new team ===
There's a limit of how many times a team can be founded, and this is set to once per 6 months (or every 2 Pitwall seasons). If you founded a new team before the 6 month period expired, then you won't be able to found a new team.
To start up a brand new team, you can do this in the Found a new team panel. There are two types of teams that can be set up: main teams and junior teams.
==== Main team ====
Most teams are main teams, a main team is a normal team with no limits. If you want to found a new main team when you're managing a main team, you'll have to resign first. You can select the country which the team will be from, but this has no additional value at the moment.
==== Junior team ====
Junior teams are teams that are managed by the same manager of a main team, but they have several limitations. The reason for their existence is to allow managers to do more, and to create more competition in the lower divisions.
The limitations that a junior team has:
* Division: a junior team is limited to the lowest division.
* Facilities: a junior team can only build a 1 starred head quarters.
* Suppliers: a junior team can only sign "normal" deals.
=== Apply for job ===
In this panel all the teams who are without a manager are listed. Next to each team there's also the deadline date which indicates when the new manager will be chosen.
If you want to apply for the job, you can simply click the Apply button. Please note that once you do this, you will automatically resign from your current team if you're successful in your application. If you're not successful then you will stay at your current team.
=== Resign ===
If you want to resign from your team, you can do this in the resign panel. Once you click the button to resign from your team, you will resign with immediate effect. There's no way back, and the team you are resigning from will be open for other candidates straight away.
=== Job security ===
The job security panel shows all teams who are public. This means that the team has gone public and managers can buy shares. Every share represents a vote to do certain actions in the team, such as dismissing the manager. If there are voters in the shareholders who are voting to have the manager dismissed, then those managers and teams will be listed here.
=== Job performance ===
At the beginning of the season each manager gets objectives that should be reached. If a team is public, then it will be less likely that the manager is fired if they achieve their objectives. This table gives a good indication of the best performing managers.
== Settings ==

These are your personal settings that you can update at any time. The photo field allows you to add a url that serves as your profile picture. If you don't enter a url then nothing will be shown.
The "disable tooltips" option will allow you to disable all the tooltips that appear in the game. Unchecking this checkbox will make them show up again.
Hide in-session chat allows you to hide the chat on the session pages. This is handy if you don't want to see the chat as there might be spoilers in there. This option will keep the chat icon in the menu, but only remove the chat panel.

=== Payment history ===
This panel shows all the payments that you've made in the past, and whether they've been paid and thus activated or not.
=== Advantages ===
Here is a list of all the advantages you will get by being a Pitwall Supporter.
== Private life ==
=== Salary ===
The salary section defines how much salary you will earn every week in your team. If your team is private (no shares on the market), then the salary can be set to whatever amount the manager decides. But if the team is public (there are shares on the market), then the salary will be decided week per week by the board.
=== Shares management ===
When a team goes public, then 100 shares are released to the market. Every manager can bid on these shares. Once you buy a share of a team, you become shareholder of that team and you also get deciding power. In this panel you can see which teams you have acquired shares from, and how many shares you have. At the end of each row is a button "View" which allows you to view the options that are listed below.
==== Board meetings ====
All shareholders have the option to post messages in the board meeting which will allow other share holders to reply. It's a private chat for all shareholders.
==== Dismiss ====
If this is set to yes, then it indicates that you will vote to dismiss the current manager as you feel someone else would do a better job.
Be careful with this option though, because if nobody else is interested in managing this team it will mean that the stock price will drop.
Once more than 50% of the votes are set to dismiss the manager, he will be dismissed instantly on the moment the 50th vote is in to dismiss the manager.
==== Objectives ====
Every team that has gone public has a board of directors. This is a board that overlooks the performance of the team. By doing that, the board and the shareholders set objectives every year. For example if all shareholders set the objectives to be really strict, then the objectives will be really difficult the next time they're generated.
If a manager doesn't meet the objectives, then they will be fired automatically by the board (if they have only been with the team since week 3, the first year the objectives are ignored).
==== Sell share ====
In the overview table you can also see the price of the average bought share. In the sell share option you can see the current worth of the share. If you feel like cashing in, you can decide to sell the share. Once you've done so, the share will appear on the shares market and everyone will be able to buy it.
=== Available ===
The shares market shows all the different shares that are available. Every share that is being bid on by at least one member has a deadline date. After this deadline date the share is sold to the highest bidder.
You can bid for a share at the end of the column, and also set your maximum bidding price. If nobody bids to your maximum bidding price, then you will only sell at the current price. The maximum price can be used to make sure you get the share if you're not around when the bidding finishes. Of course, if you don't set it high enough and someone else outbids you, you won't win the bid.
== Mailbox ==
=== Conversations ===
This panel lists all the recent conversations you've had. These conversations can be with multiple members, or just with one member.
=== Start a new conversation ===
To add someone to the conversation just type their name in the To box, and they will automatically appear. Once you've selected the right person(s), they will show up in the participants field.
If you want to allow everyone to add participants, then please check the corresponding check box. Please note that it's not possible to remove a participant from the group.
Once you click send message, the message will be sent to all participants. You can add styling, link, and images to your message by using the BB Code at the bottom of the page.
If you click the send a message button on the member profile, you won't need to add the participant anymore as it will be done automatically.
